The modern hostesses are receiving in pajama costumes this season with such popular results that their guests are following suit. A style appropriate for these occasions is worn by Leila Hyams, lovely blonde Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer player appearing opposite John Gilbert in “Gentleman’s Fate.” Fashioned in three tones of green, the ensemble shows a form-fitting sleeveless bodice with trousers graduating out in train-line fullness. The deep border of the trousers is carried out in the shade used for the accompanying hip-length jacket.
